Madeleine Bensley – New Graduate Veterinarian

I started at Ovens and Kiewa Veterinary Hospital in September 2023 after graduating from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. I chose to move to Myrtleford as I adore the alpine region. I grew up on a small hobby farm in South Gippsland with a menagerie of animals including dogs, chickens, alpacas and sheep, just to name a few! Myrtleford is a wonderful part of the world and I am excited to be on the team here at OKVH

Toulla Crameri – Practice Manager

My transition to OKVH has been great and the team has been wonderful to work alongside.
I still get to keep my hand in nursing while still doing my practice manager duties which is nice and In my spare time I enjoy spending time in my garden, horse riding and also family time, especially camping and being in the outdoors.

Alyssa Allan – Trainee Veterinary Nurse

I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. My passion sparked from being around horses, cattle, sheep and working dogs at a young age. From then on, I found it fascinating how different animal species work.

Sharon McMahon – Vet Nurse

I grew up alongside a menagerie of animals on my family farm and knew from a child that I wanted to work and care for animals. I have been a vet nurse since I left high school and worked in a mixed practice for many years. I was fortunate enough to get a nursing position at Ovens and Kiewa Vets after moving to Myrtleford in 2016. My pets include a GSHP x and a small herd of cows.

Alessia Colanzi – Receptionist

I grew up in Tasmania and moved to Victoria to pursue my interest in working with animals, as I have always had a passion for animal welfare. In my role, not one day is the same as the one before, I enjoy meeting and helping owners with their beloved pets.

Andrea O’Keefe

Andrea has been working with the Ovens & Kiewa team for many years as a cleaner. She loves cats!

Emily Bright – Trainee Veterinary Nurse

My passion for animals started when I was young, as I have grown up on my family’s beef cattle farm. I have 3 Red heelers (Bear, Bumper and Rocket) and a Border collie x Kelpie (Henry), I also have 3 horses. In my spare time I enjoy playing with my dogs and my horses. My hobbies are horse riding and cattle showing .If you were to talk to me about beef cattle or my show cattle, I would talk your ears off.
