Lucy may have thought her throat was sore and decided to help ...herself to some lozenges.

Miss Lucy was brought straight in, where we safely made her vomit — and up came the throat lozenges, packaging, foil and all! 😳

Thankfully, acting quickly meant we were able to help before the contents could cause more serious problems.

We’d love to think Miss Labrador Lucy has learnt her lesson and won’t go hunting for more forbidden snacks… but let’s be honest — Labs will be Labs and eat just about anything they can find! 🤷‍♀️🐶

Lucy is now feeling a little sorry for herself after her forbidden snack adventure 😅💛

She has been a valued part of our team for the past 5 years and is a focused, dedicated veterinarian with a strong interest in dog training. Daniella thrives in emergency situations, where her calm approach and quick thinking help deliver the best possible care when it matters most.

Dr Daniella is also committed to staying up to date with the latest veterinary guidelines and advancements, ensuring we continue to provide care that aligns with current best practices.

Outside of work, Daniella enjoys spending time gardening, riding her horse Kiama, and training her own dogs. She has two dogs and multiple cats keeping her busy at home 🐴🐶🐱

After her anaesthetic, sassy June decided her legs weren’t awake yet and dramatically slid herself around the floor for a little while 🤭 Thankfully it didn’t take long before she was back up and sniffing out treats like a pro! 🍖🐶
