Originally from Sydney, Mikayla moved to the country and ...discovered her true passion for caring for animals. After starting her career in aged care, she made the switch to veterinary nursing and hasn’t looked back! 💚

As a trainee veterinary nurse, Mikayla splits her time between Ovens & Kiewa Vets and our sister clinic, Dr Paws, where she is always eager to learn and grow. 🩺🐾

Growing up around dogs, cats and horses has strengthened her love for animals, with a particular soft spot for the bigger members of every species! At home, she is kept busy by her three very spoilt dogs and one equally spoilt cat. 🐶🐱

Mikayla loves supporting clients and their pets through both the happy and difficult moments. She has also developed a growing passion for pathology, enjoying the challenge of learning something new. 🔬

We're so lucky to have Mikayla as part of both our teams and can't wait to see where her veterinary nursing journey takes her! 💚🐾

Molly has been part of the Ovens & Kiewa Vets family for almost a year. While she spent much of that time completing her placement with us, her dedication, positive attitude, and strong work ethic quickly stood out. Through her hard work and commitment, she has truly earned her place as a valued member of our team 💚✨

You'll often see Molly helping care for our patients both in hospital and behind the scenes. She has a gentle, compassionate nature and is always eager to learn, ensuring every patient receives plenty of love, comfort, and exceptional care 🐶🐱🩺

Molly is passionate about developing her nursing skills and is always looking for opportunities to learn and grow. She demonstrates an exceptional attention to detail and regularly asks thoughtful questions to gain a deeper understanding, ensuring she learns not just the "how," but also the "why" behind veterinary nursing.
